YouTube API Services — required disclosures

  • MKVID uses YouTube API Services.
  • By using MKVID you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).
  • Google’s use of data it receives is described in the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
  • You may revoke MKVID’s access to your Google account at any time on the Google security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MKVID platform at mkvid.com (the “Service”) you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and by the MKVID Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. YouTube API Services

MKVID is an API Client of the YouTube Data API v3 and uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to a YouTube channel you own and have connected, and to set the metadata of those uploads.

  • By using MKVID you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. We advise you to read them in full.
  • Google’s collection and use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • By connecting a channel you grant MKVID the scopes youtube.upload, youtube, youtube.force-ssl, youtube.readonly, youtubepartner, yt-analytics.readonly, yt-analytics-monetary.readonly and youtubepartner-channel-audit, exactly as shown on Google’s consent screen and listed in Section 2.2 of our Privacy Policy. MKVID operates as a YouTube content owner (CMS) partner and multi-channel network.
  • You may revoke that access at any time on the Google security settings page, or by disconnecting under Account & Data inside MKVID.
  • MKVID does not sell YouTube data, does not serve advertising against it, and does not use it to train AI models.
  • You remain solely responsible for ensuring that content you upload complies with the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube Community Guidelines, including rights in any music or third-party material it contains.

3. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use MKVID. By using the Service you warrant that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

4. Description of Service

MKVID is a video distribution and metadata tool. It lets you prepare, schedule and publish video content to third-party platforms — including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram — through those platforms’ official APIs. MKVID performs no browser automation and no scraping of any platform.

5. Your Content and Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content you publish through MKVID. You agree not to use the Service to publish content that:

  • violates the terms of service or policies of the destination platform, including the YouTube Terms of Service and the TikTok Terms of Service;
  • infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
  • is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory or otherwise objectionable; or
  • is commercial or sponsored without the disclosure the destination platform requires.

You warrant that you own or control the channel or account you connect, and that you are authorized to publish to it.

6. Publishing Consent and User Authorization

MKVID publishes to third-party platforms only when you explicitly initiate the action:

  • Explicit action required. Content is sent to YouTube only when you press “Upload to YouTube”, and to TikTok only when you press “Publish to TikTok” or “Save as Draft”. MKVID never publishes automatically or without your command.
  • Pre-publish review. Before anything is sent you are shown every parameter — privacy status, audience/made-for-kids declaration, interaction settings, commercial disclosure — and must confirm them.
  • Privacy status. For YouTube uploads the safe default is Private; making a video public requires an explicit choice by you. For TikTok, no privacy level is pre-selected.
  • Made for kids. Your COPPA declaration is passed to YouTube exactly as you set it. MKVID never infers or overrides it.
  • AI-generated metadata is a draft. Any title, description or tags suggested by MKVID are editable and are only sent after you review them.

7. TikTok API Usage and Compliance

MKVID integrates with TikTok through the official TikTok Content Posting API. By connecting a TikTok account you grant the scopes user.info.basic, video.publish and video.upload as shown on TikTok’s authorization screen, and you agree to be bound by the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation for content you publish. MKVID honours all creator-level restrictions on Duet, Stitch and Comment settings enforced by the TikTok API. You may revoke access at any time in TikTok Settings → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions.

8. Meta API Usage

MKVID publishes to Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts through the official Facebook Pages and Instagram Graph APIs. You agree to Meta’s Platform Terms for content published this way, and may revoke access at any time under Facebook Settings → Business integrations.

9. Third-Party API Limitations

MKVID depends on third-party APIs. We are not responsible for service interruptions, policy changes, quota limits, rejected uploads or access revocations imposed by YouTube/Google, TikTok, Meta or any other platform.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse a platform API, or act in a way that endangers MKVID or its users. You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected], or request full data deletion under Account & Data in the application.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. MKVID makes no warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MKVID and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, reach or business opportunity.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted here with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
