Connect Facebook Pages and Instagram

via Facebook Login — Graph API v26.0

MKVID publishes videos that you choose to a Facebook Page you manage and to the Instagram professional account linked to it. Pressing Continue with Facebook opens Facebook’s own login and consent dialog, where you pick the Pages and Instagram accounts and grant or decline each permission. MKVID never sees your Facebook password. Nothing is published until you press a publish button on a publishing screen.

pages_show_list
What MKVID does: shows the list of Pages you manage so you can choose where to publish.
Why it is needed: without it MKVID cannot offer you a destination Page.
MKVID never uses it to list Pages for anyone else or to act on a Page you did not choose.
pages_read_engagement
What MKVID does: reads the basic details of your Pages (name, picture, the Instagram professional account linked to each) and the status and link of the videos MKVID itself publishes.
Why it is needed: to show publishing progress and the “View on Facebook” link, and because Facebook requires it to read the Page access token used to publish.
MKVID never reads other people’s posts, comments or messages, and never reads content it did not publish.
pages_manage_posts
What MKVID does: publishes or schedules the video, title and description you choose on the Page you pick, and edits the title and description of videos MKVID published when you ask.
Why it is needed: it is the permission that lets a Page video be created on your behalf.
MKVID never publishes without your click, never posts ads and never deletes anything.
instagram_basic
What MKVID does: reads the ID, username and profile picture of the Instagram professional account linked to your Page.
Why it is needed: so you can see and confirm which Instagram account a Reel will go to.
MKVID never reads your followers, direct messages or other people’s content, and never sells this data.
instagram_content_publish
What MKVID does: publishes the video you choose as an Instagram Reel, with the caption you write, to the account you pick.
Why it is needed: it is the permission that lets a Reel be created on your behalf.
MKVID never publishes without your click, never posts ads and never uses it for anything but the Reel you approve.
What MKVID does NOT do with your Meta data. No advertising, no selling or renting of data, no use to train AI models, no reading of messages, and no access to other people’s content. In these web screens the access tokens stay in your browser’s memory for the session only: they are not written to cookies or browser storage, and they are not stored on MKVID servers. Revoking access

You stay in control of the connection at all times, in two independent places:

Inside Facebook
Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → MKVID → Remove.
Open
Inside MKVID
Account & Data → Disconnect Facebook. Removes MKVID’s permissions from your Facebook account.
Open
MKVID publishes through the Facebook Pages and Instagram Graph APIs. Your use of these features is subject to the Meta Platform Terms and the Instagram Terms of Use.
